Day 3!



Woohoo I made it to day 3! When I watched Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead Joe Cross was miserable for the first few days saying he was happier in bed and that he didn't wanna speak to anyone. I myself do not have the option of just staying in bed as I have a husband and son that need taking care of and I also look after 2 other boys during my week. But, to be honest for these past 3 days I have never felt better. I feel energized and good about the journey that's ahead of me. I know its a long one but I feel great about it!

So this juice above is one I had yesterday called Sporty Spice (You can find the meal plan at Reboot with Joe website for the recipes) I am not gonna post every single juice I drink but I thought this one was super pretty so I wanted to share with you :) I am a girly girl and I love pink so when I see pretty things I like to share with people! hehe. It was so friggin yummy!

Well, today is day 3 and I still feel awesome. I got jealous last night as my husband dug in to a meat feast pizza! I totally don't even like pizza a whole lot any more but it smelt so good... I picked a slice up and sniffed it!..... sad right? I even got annoyed at the site of my 10 month old eating a cracker! ha! I just miss the tastes of food, I don'f feel that hungry but I just wanna taste things. I love the tastes of these juices though and they keep me full for a surprisingly long time.

I wont do this every day as I know its not good for morale but I weighed myself this morning just to see what it would say. Well I lost 4lbs in 3 days... Not too shabby I thought! :) But yes I will only weigh myself every 7 days from now on! Which will be every Tuesday since that's the day I started. I am going to try and do some exercise today. I know its very important to exercise and I will try to do as much as I can. I run around after 3 very active babies though so that has to count for something, right?? I think so! I will probably get my zumba started on the wii this week. My "time of the month" hit me right as I started this diet and I did not feel like getting up and moving like a hippo on crack.... coz that is exactly what I look like when I do zumba! But hey its FUN!

Recipe for Sporty Spice Juice

2 Beets
1 Carrot
Half Lemon
2 Celery Stalks (I hate celery so I didn't use them and it still tasted yum)
1 Orange
1 Handful of Basil

Rinse and Juice!!

  1. Lol you don't like celery and I am not in love with beets, however I have used them in my juice increasing a little bit at a time. Celery is good and does get lost in the juice and it helps get rid of excessive fluid :) I start my juice fast on Sunday. Keep strong :)

  2. Well maybe I should try it in there! I hate celery so much that I cant eat any meal that has even the slightest bit in there! Yuck..... But I might give it a go since you said it gets lost in there!
